Now ,retired from my previous job, and practicing law it is really something to reflect on the decisions that I made in a not distant past .That is when PP v. E J and another criminal case were in the local news again when the Court of Appeal sat on 19/2/2020 in Kuching .I believe they are the last vestige of my cases in the judicial services. With that, justice has found its natural course. But let justice roll on like a river , righteousnes like a never-failing stream (Amos 5: 24 ). PP v. E.J was about to what extent silence can become consent in a rape case.It was unanimously upheld. The other case is about how close proximity to money can keep one off track and forgetting the long arm of the law. The sentence that was meted out was varied. But conviction was upheld .
